Think your pizza is the best in the country? Prove it at Australia’s Best Pizza Awards – the ultimate competition for pros in the pizza game. Whether it’s a Neapolitan classic or a bold new creation, this is your moment to shine.
Win national bragging rights, score media exposure, impress industry heavyweights, attract new customers – and take home up to $6K in prize money. It’s time to step up and show Australia what real pizza greatness looks like.
How it works
Step 1: Online Submission Submit your signature pizza (the one you’re known for). Include the recipe, method, and a photo that shows it off in all its glory.
Step 2: Selection A shortlist of 26 finalised will be announced on 29 April 2025.
Step 3: Cook-Off Finalists cook and present their pizzas to the judges at the Show.

Chefs from pizzerias, restaurants, pubs, and other foodservice operations
Your pizzas will be judged on:
- Preparation and execution
- Balance of flavours and ingredients
- Overall look and aesthetic
- Technical execution
- Cooking precision

By entering Australia’s Best Pizza Awards, you agree to the following:
- Your name, company name, logo, and any event-related photos or videos may be used in promotional material for the competition.
- We may share the method behind your technical pizza entry publicly, but your signature pizza recipe and method will remain confidential.
- If your entry is shortlisted for the final, we may contact you and arrange for sponsor products to be sent for use in the competition.
- All sponsor ingredients must be used in the technical round of the competition — this is part of the judging criteria.
